The love for romantic bars stems past Petit Crenn's white on white aesthetic, bringing woodsy and earth tones together to create a new must-stop lounge space. With a flourishing portfolio of spaces to her name (Atelier Crenn and Petit Crenn) and two Michelin stars under her belt, Dominique Crenn has successfully acquired the former Cellar Door Bar — welcome Bar Crenn.
“I love beautiful, loungey wine bars,” Dominique Crenn tells the Chronicle, “I don't think there are many in San Francisco.”
With no actual liquor license, just a beer and wine license will have to do but Crenn likes it that way, "I've been trying to get this space for a long time," Crenn reportedly said, "but now that I have full control of my group and Atelier Crenn, I can focus on this." But those who are dying to try can expect ABV cocktails and small finger foods that are "very french."
Atelier Crenn will be taking it's annual January vacation so preparation to re-imagine the spot. Get excited Wine-o's.
