Things To Do: Go Glamping With This 1964 Vista Color In Oakland
It's spring, color is evident and making your next move towards a glamping-home-away-from-home-not-really is clearly the next step.
Once was a cupcake truck in Flagstaff, AZ, a 1964 Kenskill camper has a new purpose in life. Being a semi-quirky glamping spot in Uptown, Oakland. The couple (Ginger & Lewis) fully restored and customized their camper from the wheels up. While rearranging the interior to make things more spacious, they added a full bathroom with a proper flush toilet, sink, and a small shower that recycles gray water into the garden. (Biodegradable soap is provided to ensure it's safe for their plants and animals.) There is also a full kitchen with a working gas range, double sink, microwave, and fridge. So a fully stocked living space.
Of course, you gotta be o.k. with sleeping in their backyard (also home to live chickens.) For the couple, they prefer their guests to have a little bit of humor — no need for grumpy cats on the premises. If you're needing a small pick-me-up-and-get-me-away, we'd turn to this small home in an instant.
