Opening quietly and taking Instagram by STORM, Tartine’s little side hobby Cookies + Cream is making some very savory sweets and of course, we had to try them all.
And yes, you will be waiting in line. Is it worth it? Um, oh yeah. Cookies + Cream, the ice cream stand with its own
side entrance at the Manufactory from Elisabeth Prueitt took a bit
longer, opening quietly just last week according to Inside Scoop.
When getting a taste of the samples, you’ll instantly think light, almost whipped, and richly cream. Each flavor has it’s own distinct taste and look to it, what we know is that the flavors are Ethiopian Yukro-infused coffee ice cream, Askinosie dark chocolate ice cream, Fior di Latte ice cream, and Concord grape sorbet. It’s $3.50 for a small cup, $5 for a large cup, and $5.75 for a cone and toppings from granola to salty-spicy pineapple will run you 75 cents each. Goodbye money, we knew you well.
And if you’re thinking “waffle cone,” think again — it’s like a stroopwafel cone with a soft, caramel interior. Oh my god. For now, however, if you’re looking to take pints home, you’ll have better luck taking home a pie — Those come in lemon ginger, PB&J, or rocky road, at $16 for a very small small and $40 for a sizable large.
