Time for a seasonal interior design makeover, gang!
There’s nothing better than working on a project with a friend and, actually, see it come a mere thought to a tangible product. And that’s exactly the case for lifestyle and fashion designer Erica Tanov and her longtime friend, Russell Fong, a luthier and craftsman who got his start building guitars in Bristol, England.
With Bay Area native Tanov’s eye for beauty in all forms — including the details on using luscious fabrics– mingled with Fong’s meticulous woodworking skills, the two have recently debuted a their new modern, yet versatile furniture collaboration, available exclusively at Tanov’s Bay Area boutiques and on her website. Just check out the details on that rugged, raw silk Tanov chose for her Ciervo armchair! Swooned.
An interior design makeover as this summer’s project, perhaps? (Read: it may finally be time to throw out that sofa you found in a dumpster off Market Street some ten-years ago.)
