Warriors Season Kicks Off And Man It Wasn’t Pretty

Playing the San Antonio Spurs last night, the 129-100 loss sent chills down the audience’s spines… Is this something we will be seeing all season from our famed Warriors?

With the Giants out of the running for the World Series, and the Niners predictably awful, Bay Area sports fans are once again turning their attention to the record-setting Warriors. And sadly, it didn’t go well last night. Hailing their opening season game with big hooray from fans, the Warriors underestimated the San Antonio with a “semi-close” 129-100 game. And for those who weren’t there, seats in the nosebleeds are going for $114 on StubHub, and a standing room only ticket will cost you close to $99. This being both the opening night game and the first game for Kevin Durant as a Warrior, however, those prices seem understandable.

After the team’s killer season last year, a lot of pressure is on the team to do even better this time around. Fans voicing their opinions over Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, “saucy_prince: How tf we lose the first game Yo! 😒” while others defended Durant’s first game shakes, “fuglyfuck: Takes time to Adjust. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to start McGee. He’s got length && we need rebounds.”

Currently, fans are counting on a miracle season with Durant and this fan below seems less than enthused… Does he not entertain you?
