This is the era that anything can be at your fingertips. From cars, to massages, and the world behold — you press a button and it’s yours. Enter Hooch, a new SF-bar app that can get you 30 cocktails for $10 a month.
The idea is simple: pay $10.00 a month and get 30 drinks at neighborhood bars all over the city. With, of course, tipping your bartender that’s about $45 for 30 cocktails. Oh hot damn, the deal is too good to be true. Now, there are some stipulations — it’s one drink per day, for example — but even with that important rule, it still encourages the responsible adult to consume the finer wines of life.
The drinks become available everyday starting at 5:00 a.m., meaning this even works for both the brunching set and the happy hour crew. And don’t fret, this app works off “location-based matches” meaning you won’t have to trek all the way into a shi-shi downtown bar to participate.
According to Crunchbase the company has secured $2.75 million in funding, with some of that money comes from Olympic gold medalist Shaun Roger White and Def Jam’s Russell Simmons.
