No, this is not a drill. Humphry Slocombe in San Francisco is giving a sweet 'thank you' to their loyal customer's over the year. They will be handing out free scoops of ice cream at their Mission shop (2790 Harrison St.)

And don't worry about missing your chance to snag a scoop, they'll be serving from from 1 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Jake Godby & Sean Vahey opened their spot in December 2008, since then everyone loves to ask the two, “which one of you is Humphry and which one is Slocombe?” The answer: neither. Inspired by their love of British comedy, Humphry Slocombe is named after the two lead characters (Mr. Humphries and Mrs. Slocombe) from the fabulous 1970’s sitcom “Are You Being Served?”

They keep the official “Are You Being Served” book in their Mission Shop to show anyone who’s never heard of the show. Asking is encouraged.
