In today’s fast-paced and social media-driven world it is too easy to be attached to our devices and disconnected with our immediate surroundings.
For us, we're now allowed to have that moment of solitude—“Nature Talk”, moderated by Sarah Lonsdale, co-founder of Remodelista and author of “Foraged Flora”, brings together in conversation Lifestyle Designer Erica Tanov, Preserve Maker and Confectioner June Taylor, and Photographer Ngoc Minh Ngo at Heath Ceramics’ San Francisco location.
A mindful community of creatives will be brought together at Heath, designer, maker, and seller of handcrafted ceramic dinnerware and tile. “Nature Talk” seeks to illuminate the ways in which nature informs their work and how we all might refocus our eyes to the changing beauty of the natural world. The panel will discuss the book, experiences with disconnecting with society and reconnecting with nature, and how each panelist makes time to regroup outside the worldwide web.
And as a sweet treat to the event attendees, Erica Tanov will sign copies of her new book, Design By Nature, with imagery stunningly photographed by Ngoc Minh Ngo.
// 2900 18th St., Mission, Thursday, June 14th, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. June Taylor will provide her organically-grown flower and herb-infused natural syrups with prosecco and sparkling water alongside citrus candies. Additional refreshments and small bites will be served. Grab tickets for this event here.
