In it’s 8th year, Eat Drink SF returns in August to appease the tastebuds of San Francisco foodies.
Kicking off the four-day culinary festivities with the now famous Taco Showdown—where fifteen award winning chefs compete to amass the perfect corn or flour tortilla enclosed art piece—Eat Drink SF is bound to put on a spectacle not seen in years prior. Hosted by the GGRA, Eat Drink SF has seen an attendance spike in the pas year; last year's Eat Drink SF alone, over 8,000 attendees could be seen weaving in-and-out of the tasting tables, wafting the nuances afforded by well-smoked meats and seared summer greens.
But what are, arguably, the token platings of the festival’s four-day run are those served-up at the Grand Tasting Table Sessions. (And purchased guest tickets include all food and drinks with the opportunity to meet and eat with the chefs and culinary at each Grand Tasting session.)
Each Grand Tasting features more than 30 different top Bay Area restaurants that rotate at every session. More than 70 bars, distilleries, breweries, and wineries are on hand to pour tastes and batch cocktails.
Our salivary glands are already working hella overtime in anticipation for August.
