Serving the freshest of roasts to various stockist’s Cali wide, Bicycle Coffee has made the grinding process to customer experience smoother than ever. If you didn’t appreciate those coffee puns then just read on and you’ll see what we mean.
What has started as a SF bellwether for on-demand coffee has now expanded to the far corners of California and even into the eastern unknown of Tokyo, Japan. Bicycle Coffee, just like in their name, delivers all their batches of highly coveted roasts exclusively by bike. Cardio day is just a thing of the past to both Andy and Kellen. Not only being the most cultivated and honestly, the only economic way to get coffee from point a (the creation) to point b (the consumer,) making their roasts from scratch, the transparency of the brand is what flocks crowds of coffee lovers to their multiple locations daily just for a single cup of their heavenly brews. Photog, Alex Thompson, got to shadow Andy and Kellen at the Los Angeles location in prep for the day ahead.
Starting early in the morning, the dynamic duo prepare the many batches and orders that have to be sent out to their various stockists Cali wide. Anywhere from sifting through the beans, grinding, packaging, and biking them away takes hours upon hours of prep. If we could just be as in shape as they are, we would have it made.
