Reviews on WoW

The most common reviews on (WoW) World of Warcraft people have is, that this game peaks a person’s excitement level with all the momentum, scenic view, and drama. It ensures to offer you a great theatrical experience you have in a fantasy movie. World of Warcraft is not as easy as it appears. Most of the reviews tell that WoW is a challenging MMO game.

Here are the reviews from different series of the game,

The Burning Crusade (2007) 8/10 stars

The new race included – Blood Elves and Draenei

Area – Outland

Players believe the whole game is pointless without The Burning Crusade. It focuses on an army of demons invading countless worlds. It has world-changing events that have the freedom of the outland from the Legion and Illidan’s imprisonment. Players who are fine with the forty-dollar price tag can step in to try a new world.

2. Wrath of the lich king (2008) 9/10 stars

No new races are included but there is an expansion of the dark knight class

Area- Northrend

Players believe that the game has never been more exciting and addictive ever before this series. It has high-quality content for existing players, with a change in the world. It is until today considered one of the best expansions as you never realize the number of hours you spend on a virtual game. Players notice the destruction of Frostmourne and the ultimate sacrifice of Bolvar.

3. Cataclysm (2010) 9/10 stars

The new race included – Goblins and Worgen

Area – Twilight Highlands, Kezan, The Maelstrom, and Gilneas

Players love this series which brings out drastic changes in the game but includes quite less content than that on Wrath of the lich king. Although, you may find it interesting as it is interactive, has an engaging storyline, and enticing visuals. The world shatters, involving volcanic eruptions and strong earthquakes.

4. Mist of Pandaria (2012) 8/10 stars

The new race included – The Pandaren (Horde and the Alliance)

Area – Pandaria

This series is quite more challenging than other games as there is a neatly designed dungeon and rewards offered for the long-term players. It emphasizes the storytelling with a breezy and misty quest that includes multiple designs and systems. Players are introduced to a mysterious land and here, war is brought down to Pandaria.

5. Warlords of Draenor (2014) 9/10 stars

Area – Draenor

Players are introduced to a new land without any new races. In this expansion, many old faces return to the area as Horde and Alliance join Dranei. It brings out a detailed experience for the players from spotting enemies in the countryside to upgrading the loot. Here, thrall exiles, leaving excitement and thrill.

6. Legion (2016) 9/10 stars

Area – Argus and The Broken Isles

Here, the players are introduced to the demon hunter class. After a gap of two years, this expansion seemed worth the wait for those who enjoyed new class halls, huge zones of stories, and socializing, with the final act of Sargeras plunging the sword inside Azeroth.

7. Battle for Azeroth (2018) 9/10 stars

New races included – Dark Iron Dwarf, Kul Tiran, Void Elves, Lightforged Draenei, Nightborne, Highmountain Tauren, Mechagnome, Zandalari Troll, and Vulpera

Area – Zandalar, Nazjatar, and Kul Tiras

Players enjoy this expansion mainly because of the stellar predecessor in Legion. Though many players enjoyed the entry of new races and the story seemed real and intimate, many of them were disappointed to find Alliance and Horde against each other after the apocalypse of Teldrassil, the home of Night Elves. As the Slyvannas claim The Helm of Domination by killing Saurfang, she ultimately breaks the helm rather than wearing it to create a veil between the Shadowlands and Azeroth.

The recent expansion released in 2020, The Shadowlands was highly appreciated by fans during the pandemic situation all over the world. It was appreciated by the players for introducing them to the realms of Andrenweald, Revendreth, Bastion, and Maldraxxus. As Slyvannas finally joins the god of death, the Shadowlands, the players find the afterlife in chaos after Jailer and Denathrius enacted a different plan. However, players found it catchy and thrilling as they found all good and bad evil going to the Maw.

Conclusion

World of Warcraft is a great mixture of animation, scenery, and grand music. Each expansion leaves the players excited about the quests as the storyline gets interesting and allows the players to either get an action thriller experience or collect herbs and sell them in auction houses. Though many conflicted people talk about the toxicity in the game, WoW has developed an elite player base. The only disappointment a player could have is grinding for gears in dungeons and raids to be left with no accomplishments until going out of the edge to achieve world-first records for mythic raids. Playing WoW in a group is always a great choice to get the most out of exploration without getting frustrated to repeat the farm raids yourself.
