As reported by SF Gate, fans of all things sweet in the world have a reason to celebrate: favored local maker of ice-cream sandwiches, IT’S-IT, just added a new flavor to its collection and it’s of the tea nature.
The newest guilty pleasure is made with matcha green tea powder, and we can’t wait to sink our teeth into it. This is the first new flavor added to the company’s dairy stable since 2014 when pumpkin was introduced — “a release that caused temporary shortages throughout the Bay Area,” a rep from the ice cream bellwether told us.
You can find yourself this cold treat at your local market (Nob Hill Foods, Lucky, Safeway) or you can order here by the case. Trust us, it’s totally worth it.
