Off The Menu: The Rambler Set To Open Late October

From the team that brought you The Brixton in the Marina, and Tenderloin pub Redford comes the newest and chicest addition to the “bar-like” family.

Dubbed as just Rambler, this rock-and-roll themed hotel doesn’t sound like it’s going too theme-y with the 100-seat restaurant, which will feature California-inspired cuisine with love notes to Italy in every dish. With the help of the pizza ovens that once belonged to Wolfgang Puck’s famed Postrio, you can expect deep dish that melts in your mouth.

With little-to-know on the menu, a rep from Ramber explained that the restaurant will be accessible from street level and will also utilize the mezzanine levels that the old Postrio had! The menu hasn’t gone live just yet (we will update this article once it does) but trust as it will utilize the extensive knowledge of every chefs toolbox of tricks.

Bringing together a more modern vibe, Eater explains that designer Lori Yeomans, will have a hand in the design of the space “a modern California vibe with gilded light fixtures, geometric screens with exposed brick, factory-style windows, and encaustic tiles.” More of Yeoman’s work includes Wayfare Tavern, and El Paseo — which have all been hits in the Bay Area.
