You Had Me at “Varied Price Points”: Verve Wine on Fillmore

Pretty much as a rule, if you feed us tacos, we probably like you.

Thus one of the reasons we’re already adamant fans of Verve Wine Bar on Fillmore and Jackson: they fed us tacos at their opening, they sent us home with wine. We are deeply indebted to them for this service, and that’s just the beginning.

Of no relation to the coffee bar and roasters based in Santa Cruz, Verve Wine is officially the shop that makes this wine purveyor bicoastal. With origins in TriBeCa, Verve has garnered quite the fan base with their no-nonsense, fully-fun approach to wine. In their gorgeous new storefront, you’ll find reds and whites and rosé from all over the world, and suitable for most budgets. Want to splurge? Check. Deep in between paychecks with impending cobwebs in your bank account? Check. Mate. Get a wine shop that can do both.

No matter how much of a wine connoisseur you are (or not), we’re fairly confident you won’t regret a jaunt over to Verve. A friendly staff is ready to teach you as much or as little as you want to know about wine. Plus, their marble countertops and glistening bottles will have you seeing champagne stars.
