Adding to the array of mid-market businesses, Waystone opens their wine bar in the “soon-to-be-trendiest” part of Market street.

Behind the success of Causwells and the burgers that launched Popsons, owner Tom Patella and his wife are behind, Waystone, this new ‘it’ spot serving over 40 types of wine + lunch and dinner!

Tom is currently co-owner of Causwells and the beverage director there, and his business partner Alvin Garcia opened burger spinoff Popsons, which has a location in this building at Market and Taylor, as well as one in the old Marlowe space at Townsend and Third.

Currently their menu’s are serving a variety of sandwiches, salads, and 25 beers on tap — along with the wine duh. And down the line, ceviches are in the foreseeable future (by former La Mar chef-partner Billy Riordon).

Enjoy the food Warfield crowd.
