Brews & Booze This Weekend—They Also Involve a Plethora of Sweets As Well

It’s Chinese New Year (the year of the dog, so you know it’s gonna be totes awesome) and its first weekend is ripe with opportunity - to get pantsless, drink beer, eat free liquid chocolate, and laugh about all the insanity that comes with online dating. Here’s what to pencil in this weekend.

Pants off dance off

Why: When was the last time you ran a mile in your underwear? It’s definitely one for the books, and since it’s for charity, you really don’t have many reasons not to. Why: If you miss Saturday’s sweets and sips pairing (also with Anchor Brewing), make sure to be there when Anchor Brewing meets Humphry Slocombe. Choose between Anchor Steam Cream and Coffee Porter Cream, or go ahead and try a beer float! // 495 De Haro Street, free admission.

Swipe right for laughs

When: Saturday, February 17th, 10 P.M.

Where: Unscripted Theater Company

Why: The weekend after Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to find something to laugh about in the crazy world of online dating (specifically in San Francisco). Two seasons of sold out shows is a better bet that this will be a good evening than drinks with that dude who won’t stop bugging you on Tinder. // 553 Sutter Street, tickets here.
