THIS. IS. NOT. A. DRILL.
If your 2017 wish-list were to fly to Europe and enjoy a trip of gallivanting, we're getting word right now that it's completely possible. As reported by Conde Nast Traveler, the culprit frequent flyer Wow Air have announced their RIDICULOUSLY low rates to the other side of the pond leaving from San Francisco.
Read it and weep.
In the past, the serial discount airline had deals going from SFO to Iceland for $69 or lower. While Wow's famous $99 flights are still available from New York, Boston, Miami, and Pittsburgh. Of course, getting to the flight will add up. Your stay in Europe, the uber to SFO, Wow Air charges extra fees for everything from seat assignments ($9.99 to $50.99, depending on legroom) to bottles of water ($2.50). Wow Air's CEO Skúli Mogensen hopes that 'the $69 flights become a regular offering and not just an intermittent sale.'
Either way, you'll find Bob Cut in Europe.
//Travel dates are valid from January 15 through April 5, 2017. Although there is no official end date to this sale, book as soon as possible for the best availability of routes and dates at the $69 level. As the planes fill up, prices rise.
